My family loves this place! Our favorite place at home closed a couple years ago and we have missed it. I have been looking for general tso's tofu from a different restaurant since then. I was glad to see it on the menu! My husband ordered the pad thai, and my kiddos always get general tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken. This visit I got the wonton soup when I saw it at another table. It was great! We come here every time we visit Madison now.
One of the best kept secrets in Madison. If you like amazing Chinese food, you've got to stop in and grab a meal here. We always get the coconut shrimp, but we've tried some of the other dishes, and it's always fresh, hot, fast and delicious!
Initially we were just going to walk in and take this out to our Airbnb but upon feeling the atmosphere we both mutually agreed without words to eat in. The atmosphere is great Awesome people, good food, nice seating, great place overall. Probably coming back tonight this whole order was 20.76
Best Chinese food I've found since moving out of Kentucky and moving up here The portions are pretty good for the price the food is pretty good but I might be a little bit biased everyone thinks their hometowns is better give it a shot You won't be disappointed
Great food at great prices! *Update* Ownership has changed but the same great quality food is there. The only thing that I might suggest is the tea that was free refills is no longer there and I kind of miss the tea. Even without it though for 1.75 per soft drink bottled, compared to 4.50 on the average but you get free refills - Hong Kong Kitchen's deal is way better. I mean how many sodas do you drink with your meal? Lol
It's surprising how GREAT the food is, coming from such a small informal place. You order & pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was reasonably fast and the server checked on us at least twice. This was our 4th visit and the food has been REALLY good each time.
We ordered our food from the river bank. Picked it up within 15 mins. It was fresh and hot. Definitely recommend trying.
My husband and I drove here on Christmas. We ordered Szechuan chicken, Happy Family, and 2 fried rice. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was fantastic!! We ate every bite!! I have never had such fresh Chinese food in my entire life. Absolutely incredible restaurant and will return again. Thank you!!
